National 4-H Citizenship Seminar

Where is the Citizenship Seminar?

The Seminar is to be held in Ottawa, Ontario.

When is it?

The 2003 Seminar is to be held from March 28^th to April 3rd.

Who gets to go?

Six delegates from each province can go to the Seminar.

What are the objectives?

è To increase awareness and understanding of the rights and responsibilities of Canadian citizens.

è To increase awareness and understanding of the structure and functions of the Canadian governmental system.

è To exchange ideas and thus develop an understanding and appreciation of other Canadians and their 4-H programs.

è To build and enhance public awareness of 4-H.

è To travel and become more familiar with another part of Canada.

How much does it cost?

The Canadian 4-H Council sponsors this seminar, however there is a $315.00 registration fee per delegate.

When do I have to apply?

The deadline for the submission of names is November 30^th, 2002.
